wow… sad news… i love my viper TA… i got into vipers way late …nearing 50s now… been into 'other exotics' most of my life and now, this car is more exhilarating than anything i've driven including my friend's with their usual italian exotics… (i'm not talking about p1 and 918s btw….) software upgrade question
oh ok, great,that's what i thought….. i didn't want to sit there with the car heating up…. does the upgrade do anything else to my car ? it's not nothing to do with ecu and engine stuff i'm sure but… tnx, jRHO- jjrho

software upgrade question
hi, i just got the Uconnect related software upgrade kit in the mail… it says to turn the engine ON and run it while doing the upgrade… is it possible to do it with the ignition in the ON position and my battery charger going at 15Amp mode… question is really… do i need to have the engine...- jjrho

Boomerang Mud Flaps for Gen 5
trying to upload picture of my version…. i got some generic plastic mud flaps from jc whitney and cut em to as seen and used the current screws to hold it in place…. a bit larger then yours but works pre well…. did it for the back and front wheel wells...- jjrho

Changed oil in transmission and diff.
hi all, i have 2500 miles on my '14 TA…. would like to do the trans and diff…. what is the amount of oil i need to get for tranny and diff ? is there a filter for tranny ? eng. oil i've done but didn't know trans/diff. was that critical until reading this thread…. just need to know how much to...- jjrho

Cat Deletes w/o Throwing Codes or Issues?
dan , i posted re: my issue…. this is jim, u did my '14 T/A corsa and brake lines….if you recall my set up on removing the stock ext and distal cats,…. if i do the arrow cpm, will it set of the CEL ? if it doesn't, i'm pre sure it will pass calif smog,as there is no more tail pipe gas testing...- jjrho

Arrow Race Controller - preliminary observatuions.
ok, interested in doing the arrow pcm mod but…i'm in so. calif…91 oct max available… i have a '14 TA… i did the corsa ext. and had the pros. cats taken out during install…..o/w stock….. if I do this, will it throw off and CEL ? as long as there is no CEL on, i can pass smog…as calif smog...- jjrho

well, got the new shock placed finally on driver's front…. car seems a bit less bouncy maybe… i called again before i went and they again couldn't 'find the shock' so after having the Srce advisor getting on parts people, i told em to take a pic. and send it to my cell, before i'd drive there...- jjrho

well…. let me vent here…. i was told the part is fed EXed to the dealer….i assume… where else would they send it to ?!?? i make an appointment and bring my TA to moss riverside, CA dealer and they say they can't find the part…. they don't know where it is..which of their 3 dealers got...- jjrho

well…. riverside moss dodge got the part finally…. i called SRT and mark did something too , i think…. i'm going in tmrw/sat. 14th, and see if they can replace it and align the car correctly… will report back…- jjrho
