What's up with the rivet rust and/or paint bulging on my Snake's sidesills?
Sidesill cover rivets have been known to rust, as well as the paint bulge out a 1/4 inch on both sides. There is an actual TSB on it, so go to your dealer and press them to have them replaced. This is most common on 1992-1996 Roadsters, and was caused by bi-mettalic corrossion, covered by the normal extended corrosion protection warranty. Its also usually apparant only on cars that get wet/washed a LOT.
