06 Coupe. well finally got it done there before end of year. so here is my best time but the best 60' i had was a 1.94

60'...2.073
330... 5.301
1/8...7.870
MPH...97.12
1000...10.035
1/4...11.868
MPH...125.66

I was hoping to get it down to 11.7 but couldn't get my 60' time down like I said only 1.94 was the best which was a flat 12.0. Tire was spinning at the higher rpm. Had the gas press down slowly outta the hole. with my best time had lil over 1/4 tank of gas and tires are just about bald with a comp exhaust done on it. So I shouldn't complain. I chirp the tires lose every gear even 4th.

That is a VERY nice trap speed.

Overall a great pass too. Imagine what that run with the 1.9x 60' would have been if you didn't spin!

I tell everyone about no cats and no mufflers on my srt10...

I was trapping a best of 121-122 mph..Removed the cats and mufflers in favor of straight pipes and ran 124's...

Big improvement on my 2003

I live in Albuquerque, NM and the track here is 6500 feet above sea level so my 96' GTS isnt as fast but my 60 foot times are a little better at 1.91 with 1/4 mile times of 12.64 @ 110mph... It had a 3" borla cat back with smooth tubes and an SCT programmer at the time... Santa brought me big headers and nitrous,so now it has a full Borla 3" cat delete exhaust with a little snort of nitrous and I cant wait to get it back out to the track this spring...:drive:

Thats a great time I am still trying to break the 12 sec mark and my 60' times are 1.8 finishing at 117mph with 3.73 gears. what gears are you running?

Wow you should easily get into the 11's well seems like you know how to launch but how are you shifting? My gears are stock.

You would think I would get into the 11 sec range with a 1.8 60' but, not yet. I still spin up the tires in first gear. I shift prett hard but, I don't keep my foot on the floor. finish in 4th near 6k

whatever you do don't spin the tires!! im surprise you got 1.8 but I did everything to keep it from spinning the tires and i always got into the 11's but now I got the new Kumho tires and once they are warm they hook up instantly. Hoping to get it deep in the 11's with also poly mounts

Kumhos will get ya there thats fer sure. I've always launched with higher rpms and slip the clutch on a slick track. But on a good sticky prep track, lower rpms and get off the clutch asap. 1.8s n 1.9s regularly. My GF has run my car and this last weekend she finally dipped into the 12s and pulled a 1.997 60' no bs, she gettin pretty good at it :drive:

Hey Jeff great run!

I take it you aren't doing the 2 day cruise with the club if you are putting the car down?

Long times since I've been on this forum. I had alot going on the past several months

:D:D well I decided to run her again before putting her away.

This time, I have the same stuff but added SCT tune (kinda disappointed but I honestly think the tune didn't do anything but we'll see when I dyno it next year) and running the PS2 tires running down to 15psi.

fastest mph time
60' 1.79
330 4.987
1/8 7.527
MPH 99.07
1000 9.701
1/4 11.53
MPH 125.99

fastest E/T time
60' 1.85
330 4.976
1/8 7.494
MPH 98.39
1000 9.637
1/4 11.452
MPH 124.27

I could have gotten it down to 11.2X if the mustang didn't blew up on the track, I had to wait and I wanted to get going so another time. D/R would have gotten me into the 10's ;) Btw, no power shifting on just about all my runs, even the times listed.
