I'd buy it now but I've got to sell my 01 Sapphire GTS first. You'll probably have it sold by the time that happens. Good luck with the sale!

ok Benny, now tell us what you're looking at to replace the ACR.......

hey art, going the sport racer route. got a choice between a radical sr3 or its evil brother a sr8 at to good of a deal to pass up and i can still carry a passenger and be pretty fast at any track. lets see what the used acr fairy brings me in a buyer so i dont end up with 2 cars in the garage and me in my sleeping bag. LOL

You will be more than "pretty fast" in a Radical. I have a client with one. I took a ride with him at Homestead. He did a one minute 35 second lap around the road course with me in the car and he was not trying that hard. Later, he did a 1:32 by himself and he felt he could do much better in the future.

There are indeed some really good deals on Radicals.....

Assuming you intend to compete, will you have anyone in your class to race with? One of the reason they are so cheap, is with only 1-2 cars in class, you dont get much meaningful racing. You dont see many here at all.......

But if you just want a hot-lappin-sumbitching-track-rocket, that thing is RADICAL indeed ! Ive only driven the lighter SR-3, but it could certainly spoil you with its performance vs any behemoth Viper..... GOOD LUCK

hey john , you then know why im going the radical route and down here with the pboc they heve a large group of them for some good racing. will give me the performance of the acr and some just still getting use to the idea of not braking and let the aero hold it down into the corners up to 3g's. im going to carry a **** bag LOL

The other reason is because they spend more time in the pits than they do on the track. I really liked them at first but they just don't seem to hold up.

I rode in a radical for about 10 laps at PBIR with a pro driver, after the 6th lap I couldn't hold my head up straight longer, crazy G forces, no slowing down for the corners.... what a ride!

Excellent car!

I think that, at that price, it should sell fairly quickly. Good luck and whoever buys that beast - see you at the track!

The Gs they pull are exciting. Where a VIper brakes at the 5 or 6 marker, the Radicals brake at the 1 or 2 ! Stuff happens a lot FASTER so your reaction times must be heightened. You will certainly want to begin exercizes now to strenthen your neck muscles! If your helmet is not a super-light, you should upgrade. A few ounces saved means a lot more comfort.

As Chuck says, the Radicals here have tossed rods and blown trannys with some regularity.

HAVE FUN BENNY........... is that $80K ACR SOLD yet? SHOULD BE !!!

The posts above reminded me that when I took that Radical ride I mention above, I ended up actually holding my helmet. The lateral forces were incredible. I felt, and probably looked like, a bobble head. I did have a little neck muscle discomfort the day after. The radical is a serious machine for a highly skilled driver. Have fun Benny! Please give me a call when you get it.

i thought i priced it right to give someone a good deal and with all the hard work done, but not even a nibble so lets see. the economy must be worse than i thought.
my research and discussions with owners is that basic maitainece is critiacal, oil check, check every nut and bolt most failures are driver error (redline kabloom) or didnt check a fluid level. but you can ask that know me im anal about car care and teching because its a expensive toy and my cheap butt in it.

Hey. I'm old. I have to pace myself. I was at the track in October. I"ll probably go to the HOD event coming up. I do not want to embarrass you young people too frequently. If I decide to sell the ACR wheels and tires, I think that your garage would be a good place for them to end up. LOL.

It's priced right, need more exposure than just here, post it on ebay, autotrader and cars.com, it will sell....

yea, I think it's harder to sell a Viper on here, not much traffic, I had my GTS listed here for a few weeks, it sold on eBay in just a few days...

I did get my SRT experience DVD, didn't look through all of the videos yet, I'll look for that one when we did the flyby... :)

good luck with the sale and radical search, looking forward to checking it out!

Benny...I cant believe you are selling your second wife. I understand why but its still hard to believe. Your ACR is in beautiful condition and Im sure that it wont stay on the market for long. I wish I had the money...I would come by your house tomorrow and pick it up. Well...good luck with it.

Is your car radio delete?

If you have any interior pics please send to [email protected]

Are owners of ACR cars using these for daily drivers? or just track cars?

Thanks
