It's a good start though sir. I appreciate it.

Thank you. You came on board here right around the time all hell broke loose. While it made for a lot of entertaining reading, it sure was a lot of drama. Don't know if I ever would have come back if I were in your shoes. Stick around and have some fun.

Umm, who wants to ban me please, this sounds like a NICE deal... :)

From posts I've read elsewhere, I suspect that it would only help if you were to buy them the services of a very high quality "******" service for a night or four. That might make them forget why they still have hurt feelings. These are very sensitive guys.

VCA Forum Staff should be permanently deleted. it leaves a bad taste for everyone. don't give me "it's the only account with rights" BS. I work in the industry and it takes 5 minutes to make an account or change it if that. remove it. make it known who mods and admins are. their rights should be directly linked to them so that any action can be tracked.

any enterprise IT man knows that they don't do **** with group admin accounts for this very reason, it's called accountability.

also, while this allegedly new leadership is at the helm, why was everyone not unbanned or at least looked into within the first 2-3 weeks since the debacle.

I fully believe that the shiat bags that were running the freak show before are still at the helm. VPA included.

Virginia-

You are incorrect on many counts, and all has been explained (who the mods are, who is in charge). I'm sorry you feel like that, but I assure you everyone who "were running the show" are gone, and it's funny that no one wants to REALLY see where they went.

But since you asked so nicely, I put in a request to see if I can have the approve rights added to mine and John's account. I can't see how to do it as we are all "Admins" but I can't do it now.

agreed, where did they go? and who exactly is the person in charge that is running the site.

please do tell me exactly where I'm wrong on many accounts.

Post #46 answers one of your questions

yes I saw it. without definitive purpose of which of the two it is, it might as well be anonymous. accountability. all it takes is for both of them to claim they didn't do it. no proof of who it is. period. delete it.

Virgina-

The request has been made. Who is running the VPA is a person by the name of Keith Laxson, he was one of the original 12 Viper Techs in the world. No one else is involved with the VPA, that's who "runs that site" I guess from a site perspective Don Boston "admins" both the VCA and the VPA.

I have sent you an email discussing the rest of your query.

It appears I have been unbanned. Thank you. Just a note though. I still cannot PM anyone, as I would have handled this by PM instead of posting here. Says I do not have permission to access my profile also.

And, a comment so this isn't a complete OT post. Another poster mentioned that they think there is room for 2 national Clubs. Surprisingly enough to some I bet, I agree. Most of the people directly responsible for the fallout with this club are gone. That is a major good thing in my mind. I do wish all the officers that recieved lifetime free memberships yet failed the members of this club would have those revoked, but I guess we can be happy with the steps in the right direction so far.

VCA Forum Staff is dead. Long live VCA forum admin. JUST KIDDING.

John and I are now the only users with the power over user accounts (and Don of course, he's super admin). VCA forum staff has been deleted.

After seeing the comments from Virginia in his reply to me, I can see there is a HUGE stigma based on what that account was used for, I had no idea, and apologize to anyone who was treated the way he was, it was wrong, sometimes spirited debate is warranted, especially when it's potential whistleblower related speech.

So now we can expect all the rest of the wrongly banned released from purgatory?

30 have been un-banned, and that's all I am aware of. If someone thinks they were wrongly banned, please have them contact support. The remaining ones all are for advertising violations, invalid/duplicate users, or some that wanted to get banned. Basically, everyone has a reason that makes sense.

If there is a specific person you are "representing" please PM me and I'm happy to look into it.

Just to name a few. There are more. Did Maurice ever get re-instated? YOU know, the guy that started this club and subsequently was ostracized for no good reason? WITHOUT the conditions that were placed on him FOR re-reinstatement?

Letting everyone back is good. As long as the new VCA is honest and transparent...trolls will be handled.

Since this is a public forum, out of respect for the privacy of the individuals, shouldn't handles and names of banned individuals be discussed offline between those individuals and Greg or whoever reviews the issue for the VCA?

I don't think any of those on that list are still banned (based on seeing there names while reading some of the older grailkeeper posts). The only one I don't think I remember seeing is whitebeard

No, because that is how nothing happens. Names are public, this whole idiotic situation is public, so should be the lack of response from the leadership, it should be public. No more backroom deals.

Correct. I just had a chance to go through banned users and none of these addresses are listed.

Looks like we both posted at the same time. Just to confirm, none of the above mentioned are banned or ever were banned to my knowledge.

I thought about it a bit, I know of one for sure that had been banned. I can remember seeing the username on the list a while back and since I had met this person several times, I found it hard to believe he had been banned. Some type of Vendor issue, still really don't know to this day.

Let's be clear, if they are being moderated and can not post without a moderators approval, it is the same as being banned. And yes they all are fully moderated. That is BS.

I understand, but shouldn't it be the decision of the person banned or moderated whether he or she wants their personal business discussed on a public website? If the person has consented to that, fine. But what if he or she does not want it discussed?

well considering you can't get their side because they are banned / perma moderated. kinda hard to hear their wishes isn't it now.

They are not all moderated. I crosschecked the list two different ways. Being banned and moderated are different. Being moderated, one can still actively participate on the site, if you are banned, you cannot. I suspect we will have to agree to disagree on this matter.

I think someone on the list must be pulling your leg telling you that they are moderated when in fact they're not. I'd by happy to talk to anyone on that list about their status. In fact, there are a few on that list that I wouldn't mind catching up with.

Feel free to PM me specifics. If anyone has an issue with their forum status, feel free to PM me as well.
