Hoosier has a new compound available in Viper sizes now. R7.
Supposed to work better in cooler temps and last a little longer that the R6.

I am going to use them this season, and was wondering if anyone has already got some seat time with these.
Curious to know if they feel much different than the R6's.

I ran them at COTA, turn in was maybe a hair softer (imo) but the grip was better and they wore very well showing only a little graining after a 2 driver day (10) 25 minute sessions. Sidewalls softer and let you put power down better off the corners and more progressive break away.

Wish they made the R/A 7 in 315 x 30 x 18 as I run this size up front on 11 inch wheels on my ACR.

They do make that size in the R7 compound.

Could not find this size in the R7 on Tire Rack's website. Maybe somebody else stocks them?

I've been buying from 'Hoosier Tires Direct'.
They've recently expanded their business into other products like brakes and such.
Now they are easily found as 'Competition Motorsports'.

They list 315/30-18 as an available size.

Brian is the sales rep I usually deal with.
Give them a try, they've been great to me so far. :)
