Excellent example of a rare Gold Package GTS, 1 of 7 made. Wheels are perfect and so is the body and interior, still smells new, even the original floor mats have clear plastic over them for protection. It only has 8,500 miles. You Viper owners now the rest of the story with these autos. The only add on is the $6000 SVT exhaust system. It was bought for my brother but he decided to invest into real estate instead, his loss, was going to be in the Barret-Jackson auction but I had to cancel. It is just looking for a good home for someone who will appreciate and love it. Has been stored in heated garaged and under cover. If you are interested please let me know, long live the VIPER.

I thought the Gold Package cars came with a Tan interior? It looks as if the seats have been re-upholstered in the car pictured.

Wasn't this car for sale a few months ago? What is the selling price?

The "Gold Package" came on the RT/10's and did have a tan interior. There were 7 GTS's ordered with "gold sparkle" wheels, but were not gold package cars because they did lack the tan interior. As I'm sure you know, the black/red interior on this car is not stock though.

Taken from viper registry....

'97: Fourteen yellow wheeled GTS's, and seven gold wheeled (not gold package, these did not have tan interiors) GTS's manufactured.

Still a rare car though......

What is sad is that the one thing that makes this car "rare" is the wheel package, and that is the first thing I would change on that car. They look really "70's broke ****", of course, they may look better in person?

What does a "special" wheel package add to the value? I know they aren't stock, but nice HRE's or CCW's only add a grand or two, I couldn't see this being too valuable...

Plus, I would feel like I would always have to defend it:

Some guy, "Cool Viper"
Me, "Thanks!"
Some guy, "What's with the **** wheels?"
Me, "Oh, it's special - one of seven"
Some guy, "Too bad..."

My mistake, this is my Gold Wheel Package, etc Viper. I actually own 2 of the 7 Vipers GTS with the Gold Wheel Package, I searched for a long time for another one for my brother because them gold wheel package Vipers being rare and we were on some kind of ride to own all seven, but dreams come and go. And yes my Viper pictured here has the Veranzo interior and has 33,000 miles, I dont think I will sell mine because I like to drive it and I am selling the other one because it will make some Viper collector VERY happy and it deserves all the love. I will try to upload the other pics.
I have the 1997 Dodge Viper Sales Brochure and it shows the sneaky pete gold emblems on the side of the hood.
