Hi all. I made a post about how my power steering felt tight while at idle and when the car is warm earlier. The car war running hotter than the proper operating temperature at those times.. I eliminated one suspect, the ps pump. So now ii think it must be caused by a restrictive hydraulic fan...
If the rack and pinion was gone, wouldn't the power steering never work? cold or hot car? The steering works fine till the car warms up, and then there is no visible fluid flow in the ps reservoir.
LOL yet another issue guys. thanks for help in advance. So my car started to have stiff steering when on idle and while warm. I also noticed that the car runs hotter than the usual. In the past two years I hvnt seen the temp gauge needle going past the center mark, no matter how hot it was...

Wow. I think I might be in for a fun journey here. Didn't do anything to the car, started it in the morning, all works fine. Im hoping it will be the last of it, but somehow im doubting it :) thank you guys for your input

It definitely was a speed related issue, at any gear, or rpm. Ill bee keeping an eye on it I guess for now. the car drove okay the next day. thank you all
So, story starts at the time when I picked a rebuilt 05 ( I know, I know... please don't judge me :) ) The car drove fabulously for the first 1000 miles or so. But today after a short stop at gas station, it developed a very heavy vibration between 60 and 90 mph. it was worse while lifting off...
I just got an 05 car with gen 4 hood on it, with blown shocks, so the hood doesn't stand up. I went to a dealer and apparently gen 3 and gen 4 part numbers for hood shocks are different. Could some one tell me if I should go for gen 3 or gen 4 shocks? thank you all.
