I just got some from the dealer and changed mine last week.
They don't call it Syntorq.
The number on the bottle matches the number on the trans tag still.
............just like always
I wonder if it is discontinued and my dealer has an abundance of old stock...................
I have a C6 Z06. I had a C5 before that
Corvettes are way more useful as cars than Vipers
The Z06's are really fast. great performing cars.
The Viper is the superior car though. The true American bad-ass.
Vipers require a lot more driver skill to be quicker than the Vette.
The Viper is more...
My car is way loud with an ugly drone.:crazy2:
It doesn't seem that bad with a helmet on and driving full throttle most of the time.
Try that............;)
Oil pan uses a gasket. Not that common of a leak point. If the pan gasket is leaking, not that hard of a job.
Do the cooler lines first.
I think wiper blades are dealer only, and a little expensive.
-it is what it is.
The INVO's are great street tires. Smooth and quiet.
Watch out for the cops.
I have a set with Kumho XS's on them.
Reasonably decent condition..........the tires are old/hard now.
Was saving these for street driving. Haven't been on the car for a couple years now.
May consider letting them go. Price is the problem.
Someone like you needs a good deal. Someone like me...
I also had a C5 Corvette. From the standpoint of a daily driver, The Corvette is the better choice hands down.
The Viper is more thrilling and manages to keep your attention 100% of the time. You don't need a radio, someone to keep you company......nothing.
The Viper's character is it's own...
I think 1st gen Vipers are as scarce as hen's teeth in this area.
...................If you have one, and would like to bring it to the track, I am organizing an HPDE April 16th.
This is the first of 6 events for the 2016 season.
Non-competitive / low...
Re: Well I wrecked my 06 coupe, so far they say it is repairable and I am pricing par
*****!
Fix it, and go on.
I wrecked mine back in 2008.
Total bummer experience....................completely my fault.
Some lessons have to be learned the hard way.
......You are lucky to have some help...
I have the SCT on mine. SCT does not sell them directly with Viper tunes, You need to buy it from a vendor that can load tunes on it to suit your needs, then it works like the other ones you've had in the past.
I got mine from Roe. Told him what I was doing to the car, he set it up for that...
