D-Day is approaching.... What will happen to the Viper?

I'm really looking forward to the next NSX and next Viper as well. They both should be amazing. I have a feeling that the NSX will take til '09 or '10 to go into production at the earliest though.

So this trailer pulls up today......(PICS)!

Bat, glad you're enjoying the ride! I actually was deciding between an srt-10 and an NSX when I was selling my Gen II, then decided to go with a newer NSX. I am loving the formula car, mid engine feel, cutting around curves and long cruises. However, I won't say that I don't miss the massive...

    Some Pics of A Buddys...

That's been the latest rumor for the next NSX. 2750 lbs, 450 hp V10. It's still up in the air now, nothing has been confirmed or denied by Honda.

    Some Pics of A Buddys...

The reason why the NSX costs $88,000 new is because it was extremely expensive to produce (I don't even think Honda made any money on the NSX itself). The car is all aluminium (chassis and body panels) which is pretty expensive. The NSX is not just about a 0-60 time; It's about all-around...

My first run against a Z06

I don't know Fadi, I think your Z06 and SRT-10 would be closer than you'd think.

SO WHATS THE BIG DEAL ABOUT A DODGE VIPER - 3 THINGS - JMHO

I agree with Wanted, the Gen II RT/10 is the best looking viper. I think it's really too bad that Chrysler left the top as an afterthought, however, and the car just doesn't look right or feel right with it on. At least the Gen III fixed this problem.

    Z06 kill

I was surprised too, but that's pretty much what happens every time. All you need to do is get two qualified drivers with a gen II and a Z06 at your local dragstrip to figure this out. It will be a drivers race to 100 mph, then the Viper will start to pull away more and more as the speeds...

May be leaving the Viper Family, for a while...

So says the wise man who has driven neither.

May be leaving the Viper Family, for a while...

I actually sold my '98 Viper RT/10 and bought a 2000 NSX-T. Even though the Viper was a really fun car, to be honest, I enjoy driving my NSX much more. The Viper wins in accerlation, but the NSX is not slow by any means, like some people are saying. It will run a 4.5 0-60 mph. I do notice...

My Viper and a buddies NSX....*Pics*

A lot of people have asked me that question Doug. I actually don't regret the decision, as much as I loved my RT/10. I've actually been very happy with my new car. I really wanted to try the mid-engined exotic thing, but I also wanted something very reliable. I also love the styling of...

It really just depends what you're looking for, they are both awesome but different. Try to find a 97+ to drive.

    It's a 2000 with the stock wheels. 17" rear and 16" front.
