Transmission on Gen 2 Viper - Third Gear Grinding
After calling several shops in the area, turns out almost everyone ships the transmissions out to AAMCO's around here. So I took the car to an AAMCO down the street to get a free 'diagnosis'. I'm pretty sure they went joy riding in the car and were not very professional, I got the car back...- brap

replacement / repair valve covers
Hi all, I have a '98 GTS. The paint on the valve covers is bubbling and peeling off. Is there a place that I can either send them to have them refurbished and repainted, or buy new valve covers? Its frustrating because it looks crappy when I pop the hood :( Ryan- brap

Gen II GTS gas cap removal help
I just wanted to post an update and thank everyone for thier help. I finally got the new gas cap on, and it was alot easier than I initially thought it would be. Thanks for the tips on using the tire dressing, after I put that on the rubber grommet it just slipped right back onto the gas cap...- brap

Chantilly, VA Dodge = BAD!!!!!!!

Upgraded from 18 to 19" rear wheels - How do I recalibrate everything?

SRT Rims
Anyone have a Gen II with the these SRT rims? I did a search and found only 1 photo where someone photoshop'd them onto a GenII but it wasnt a great photo. I'm debating between these and the '99-'02 rims. Also, since they are larger than my stock '98 rims, will I take any kind of performance...- brap

Gen II GTS gas cap removal help
I just ordered a chrome Gen II GTS gas cap. I am trying to remove my current gas cap. The service manual simply says to remove the 4 bolts and then remove the gas cap. But after i got the bolts removed, I noticed the gas cap is attached to the drain that connects to the gas tank. On the backside...- brap

I ran into another Gen II GTS owner the other day and he has a stock gas cap, but it was chrome, not the standard aluminum. A few questions
I have a few questions related to my '98. One is that the gas cap has some corrosion on it, I've tried different metal cleaners but its not doing the job. Any recommendations? Or am I better off just buying a new one? Second question is can someone give me info on the spoiler and front bumper...- brap

Viper or Ferrari...Go easy please
Well since I am a Viper owner, I am obviously biased. But I love my '98. Not only is it fast, but it turns heads like crazy. I can't go anywhere without people approaching me to want to talk about it. In my opinion, the Viper is a better looking car as well, but once again, I'm obviously biased.- brap
