    Charlotte Cars & Coffee

I thought I would share this shot as the waitresses are great and this was a photo op you couldn’t pass up. This pose was on Jon H (President of the Roanoke Club) Demon. Any captions?

With a couple of Viper’s in attendance, my Snakeskin Green ACR was awarded the Waitress Choice Award, which the award was built with a real piston, rod, valves and cam shaft as well as first in class for Viper which the trophy was made from a piston and rod. Pretty cool trophy’s!

I did attend the Carolina's Scat Pak Mopar Club show held at Tilted Kilt as well. They are just a great group of enthusiasts and they always appreciate the Viper. I joined their club a few months back and have to say they are very active here in the Charlotte area, something going almost every...

A couple of other cars, check out the 63 Split Widow, and the passenger, kind of creepy if you weren’t paying attention and walked up on it, also a very nice 69 Cuda, along with a couple of shots.

Something you rarely see is a Zephyr with 600 HP, sounded great and I appreciated his work and desire to have something different! Also, finally got a closer look at the Detroit built, LS3 powered Super Lite, all track car.

Check out this “Rainbow” Super Bird clone from a Roadrunner, and I have say, it drew a crowd and many people voted on the color, personally I am partial to the green. Also, look at this Rat Rod truck, 100 HP with 400 ft lbs of torque.

Great weather and a huge turnout, parking lot of 600 spaces was completely full end to end. Over 30 Porsches including 3 R3’s , at least 12 Ferrari’s and 5 Lambo’s, along with large amount of Mustangs and the large Corvette groups. We had a few of our Charlotte based members in attendance, Steve...

    Hot Rod Power Tour 2014

I also posted a couple of photos in the “Grail Keeper” forum above. A few others, here is a photo I found on the Hot Rod Magazine forum taken of my car traveling down the road through Kentucky towards Charleston, West Virginia, a photo of the venue in which parking was a challenge but the venue...

    Hot Rod Power Tour 2014

For those of you that shared how great the Hot Rod Power Tour is, that was an understatement as it was that and even more. I have done a lot of fun events in my Viper, but nothing will ever compare to participating on the Power Tour for 4 of the 8 days. Best time ever! To be honest, I can’t...

    Hot Rod Power Tour 2014

Hey John, that would be great if you can. If you want to trailer up, you can leave your truck/trailer at my house and we can do three legs and return straight back into Charlotte from Charleston WV, just down I-77. Or if you are up to it, we could add a segment into Norwalk. They have some great...

I appreciate your insight, for you to feel it's the best car event ever, certainly says a lot as I know you participate in many events! Its been on my list of things to do for a long time and how can I not do it with it starting in my own backyard. Its going to be a father/son trip, and viewing...

    Hot Rod Power Tour 2014

After attending the Tail of the Dragon run for the last 3 years, I have opted to join the Hot Rod Power Tour for my first time, just registered and made hotel arrangements for each city. I have wanted to this for years but never found the right time to do so and it was too tempting with the...
