Is breaking dust like breaking wind?
Seriously, if you are not tracking your car and you do not mind the extra pedal pressure required, especially for cold braking, then EBC Greens are for you. I had not heard about the formula change though.
Re: Jon B Post-
JonB is great for the Viper community. But, there is no doubt in my mind that some service with a smile attitude and reduced pressure sale tactics would go a long way toward me wanting to do business with him.
He must think we are all millionaires as he questions our need to...
On the Mustang dyno did you do steady state points or a relatively fast sweep?
If you did a fast sweep those huge diameter wheels and tires will reduce the measured power as they are absorbing it (like a flywheel).
If the engine on an engine dyno only produces 700, how can it make 650 easy when the hp loss on a stock engine is more than 50 between crankshaft and wheels (510 crank versus 445 or so RWHP)? You think the driveline gets more efficient with more power?
I said HIGH 600 RWHP. Is 600 in the high 600's to you?
650 would be about the highest without other modifications. Another 10 or 15 with freer exhaust. Beyond that you are starting to break the laws of physics.
Can you reply with a color or bold or italics so we can quickly see what is the response? [color:red] something like this
[color:red] Test. Test. HTML does not appear to be working. Sorry
We are working on th :needpics:
Anything to say to our invasive vette Z06 friends who come here to inform us that the Viper cannot beat the Z06 in ANY performance category? Not exactly a high pedestal to respond from.
Bring it on. On the track, multiple laps. Notice how stock Z06s do in One Lap of America compared to...
So you are saying that when the ABS is in default mode rear brake lock-up is almost guaranteed? Same brake pressure, same brake caliper and rotor with much less weight on the rear.
If your ABS light is on and the system has faults, it would be wise to get the system fixed and not drive...
Some dyno numbers do appear unrealistic. Simple thing is an engine dyno with Paxton nets 700 flywheel hp with optimized fuel and spark. Lower backpressure exhaust may help some but claims of high 600 range RWHP are just not rational. And driveline loss (in the 50-60 hp range) is not going to...
Yes, the speedo/odo receives a signal from the pcm. interrupt the wire and no signal. A slight cal change will prevent any concerns. Note the PCM odometer recorded is addressable. In other words anyone with a DRB can reset it to what they want.
As an aside anyone who would actually disable...
