How many RPM in 3rd gear at 50mph?
So at 60mph it would have been 3744 with 3.55... thanks a bunch. I think the event wasn't so much about the spin as about the letting off in a down pointing left turn. Once the investigation closes I will post something.- deadman

How many RPM in 3rd gear at 50mph?
With 3.07 or 3.55 rear? I need this to analyze an accident and my viper is no longer :-(. I wasn't driving it nor a passenger. Thanks!- deadman

Need some help with Belanger setup
Oxygen sensors /or their wires shorting. Been there done that. Change them and apply heat protection generously otherwise this will come back every few miles... There is so much heat that the wires just burn off plus they may be squeezed by the sill panel so check that too.- deadman

Belanger questions
in my experience: Full setup was great above 2000rpm, no drone whatsoever. However, my cruising speed is ~1500rpm and that drone was unbereable for my ears. So I got separate cat L component from belanger and hooked headers with standard exhaust. I would rate this the best approach - you will...- deadman

Yes, that's it. It's subjective. I see the same as FrgMstr plus that to me the ass is more muscular then front with Gen5. Somehow - for me - it just doesn't plug together, the front is little too soft, subdued and almost feminine. On C7 - well the ass is what it is but together with the sharp...- deadman

Of the two as far as design goes I think C7 is a more complete package. I still can't get to understand Gen5 rear vs. front. C7 no matter what opinion about its design is I think has front middle and rear more in sync.- deadman

If they go by batch of 800 then I say all 2nd wave customers may wait - well - until next year. California smog question
Per regulations the vehicle must pass smoke and visual inspections. Smoke is not a problem, even for Belanger with cats. The visual is. Per regulations the exhaust system from the engine through downstream O2 can only use CARB certified components and even if there would be CARB certified...- deadman

O2 spacer for Gen IV
I have Belanger setup. Yes, the wires short and there is not much you can do about it, because it's a function of heat rather then geometry. The wires short when the insulation compound in O2 head gets melted so - as a function of vibration - wires would get pulled up a little and expose...- deadman

Other then BLING BLING what's the benefit of clamshell hood?
Okay I get two more then BLING - it gets repairs more expensive in fender bender type of collision and if you forget to lock it won't pop up :lmao: Seriously, I can't imagine hassle of having clamshell working on my SRT-10. So GenI+II owners, could you chime in what's the secret here?- deadman
