It's all about having the right tool for the job. The best vehicle for hauling ass - the Viper!! The best vehicle for hauling asps - a Dodge Cummins Powered pickup!!
We tow our 48' trailer all over the country. With 2 Vipers, spare tires/wheels, spares, tools, and assorted other junk needed...
What Pete is saying here is absolutely correct - it is extremely scary and unsafe to have too little a tow vehicle. We tow a 48' Featherlite all aluminum 2 car enclosed trailer with most seriout pickup truck that we can find - a 2003 Dodge Quad Cab Cummins Turbo Diesel dually. While this may...
I thought that some of you might like to know that PVO has won awards for some of the parts used on our new SRT/10's. While this might not mean much to some of you to the technically oriented out there I thought that this might be of interest.
The Society of Plastics Engineers awarded...
Speedpup, you should come out and try a Viper Days event anyway. I think that you will be very pleasantly surprised. As Hoosier Daddy was trying to say, it isn't about how many mods that you have on your car or how much you've spent. Its about the driver. There will be plenty of cases where...
We have been running Joe Dozzo modified oil pans and windage trays in both of our '96 GTS's for a couple of years now. The 2000 pan in my '96 was actually the first new pan that Joe modified. We have had great results in 2 years of Viper Days Michelin Challenge series use. Joe's modifications...
Wckdvpr, I can highly recommend the TeamTech Tucker Helment Harness. I used one last year and now feel uncomfortable in a Viper without one. Like any of the helmet restraint systems it takes a little getting used to but I think that it is the best alternative for a Viper.
The TeamTech harness...
David,
You should try contacting Golden Gait Trailer in Charlotte, NC. They have been the larget Featherlite car trailer dealer in the US for most of the past recent years. We have been dealing with them for some time and they are one of the few places that we can recommend without...
We have a club member who had this happen at the drag strip. He was running headers without heat shields at the time. He has since modified a set of stock heat shields to fit over his headers and has not had the problem re-occur in spite of a lot of track miles. Based upon his experience I...
Re: Cone\'s brake ducting kit
Thanks for all of the compliments (I think!!) on the Cone Cooling Kit. We too started with the Porsche air deflectors on our cars - and soon found them to be inadequate. Since we had an extreme set of circumstances on our cars (namely trying to go very fast in...
Re: \'99 ACR vs. \'01 ACR - Cams, lying dynos, Corsa
Ken, the cam change and the header change took place in different years. The manifolds were changed from cast iron to stainless steel tubing beginning in 1998. The cam was changed beginning in 2000. There were a number of other engine...
I'm not paying attention for a minute and Janni is trying to claim MY new car. Oops - better not say that too loudly. She can claim it as hers as long as whe keeps letting me spend $$ on it. After all, she is the crew chief.....
This car won the Motorola Cup Super Grand Sport class in 2000...
Courtney, the thanks owed are the other way around. Thanks to the entire Viper Days team for another great year. Viper Days remains the best way to learn to drive your Viper. Anyone who hasn't tried it should!!
And the Viper Days people are the best people that there are. We miss the...
Mountainwolf, check out the classifieds on this site. There are numerous cars there, most from Viper knowledgable VCA members. There are certainly several there that meet your color preferences, including my '96...
