Cleaned Out the G2 Spare Parts Cabinet

Cleaned out the Parts in the Gen2 Cabinet Just a little heads up, I am going to post some G2 parts in the "For Sale" section this week. I would like to sell them as a complete package, in other words one purchase/one individual. I do not have a...

Head Gasket replacement - Who has done it themselves?

Burping is an art, however, since I started filling at the heater, there has not a problem. You do have to install a tee. They are available in any auto parts store, even Walmart has them.

Head Gasket replacement - Who has done it themselves?

    1. The ARP assembly lube will give you the percent of torque reduction, it is dramatic. If you use the assembly lube and use full torque, you will probably damage the threads. 2. Make sure all the liners are not raised above the plane of the block. 3. While you are in there, you might want to...

Head Gasket replacement - Who has done it themselves?

We are on the same page, measure twice and cut once. The first time i tried to bolt down a set of viper heads, I noticed the torque readings were not consistent as I tightened down the heads, it was the less than perfect threads in the block, since then, I always use the thread chaser. You can...

Head Gasket replacement - Who has done it themselves?

Why don't you list the questions. One thing you do not want to do is rotate the engine with the heads off, these cars have liners. Personally, i would use a thread chaser to clean the head bolt threads in the block, that is not tap, a thread chaser is far different. Make sure you clean the head...

My Fellow Americans...it was a GOOD run

The Republican party is going to win in 16. The viper will continue to dominate the track. You should really watch some pdv and nine ball's roll races.

Boomerang Mud Flaps for Gen 5

The first production run is almost gone, Mark only has a few left. I am going to enter an order for another 100 sets, just a guess, we should have them in approx three weeks.

Boomerang Mud Flaps for Gen 5

The "basic uploader" keeps viewing my 100 kB files as 6mB and disallows the upload. There are some good pics on the VOA site.

Boomerang Mud Flaps for Gen 5

For those that have not seen the post on the VOA. If you have the Corsa oem tires or use any soft compound tire it only takes a few thousand miles and the paint on the front lip of the rocker (inside the front wheel well) looks like someone took 40 grit sand paper to the finish. On my car after...
