It really going to be tough with the low production numbers. The Viper is the only car in the brand that really commands the big bucks. It's going to be tough to provide that service level with independent "retail" car stores.
Many moons ago, I bought a few is sets of Mopar sliding windows that are specifically made to fit the 92-95 cars. They look exactly like the 96 window except the factory label says "92-95 retrofit". Additionally, I think the 96 windows will work on the early Gen1's. Makes a big difference.
"We can't legally stop someone who's sold a Viper in the past from selling it, but we can make it a little difficult because we know that there's going to be a new breed of customer coming," Gilles said. "So we want to make sure they have a great experience."
