As far as Plexus goes, I have used it for years on my motorycycles, both the plastics and the paint. It was the first "quick detailer" I ever used. Now I'm not recommending you use it on your paint, but it certainly won't harm it either.
Just curious, I'm planning on coming in from Colorado again for the rally this year and just wondered what the buzz was in K.C.? Is the enthusiasm for this event pretty good again this year? The Buffalo Run website doesn't seem to be getting much attention. Is Brian promoting the event much...
I started driving my Viper here in Colorado so didn't really know how much different it would be at a lower altitude. Last October I took it back to Kansas City for a rally and it was decidedly "greasier" there. Much easier to break the back end loose without really trying.
The entire nose of my car, the front third of the hood, mirrors, the entire door sill, and about 2 inches around all the wheel wells have 3M film. You tell me, I think it looks great. You really can't see it unless you are at exactly the right angle to see the sun glint off an edge. Otherwise...
Yeah, I'd have to totally disagree with this. Most every well-run, enjoyable, highly functional, user-friendly forum I belong to is a vBulletin forum. I think moving to a vBulletin format is the best thing that could happen to this site. Yes there are some good UBB forums out there, but you...
I feel your pain although down here in Pueblo it's SAND, not snow that's the problem. With all the sand we've gotten on the roads down here it may be Christmas next year before I get to drive my Viper again!
Yeah I was referring to X-band. Just giving you Valentine boys a hard time. I think any of the top three perform equally well (****** Passport 8500, Valentine 1, or Bel RX65). Pick any of those three and you can't go wrong. Most people do seem to love their arrows on the Valentines though!
Yep, my V1 will pick up automatic door openers wwaaaaaayy farther away than my Bel RX 65. It just doesn't pick up cop radar at any longer range than the Bel. I do like the arrows though.
Actually my co-pilot had them made while he had my car in K.C. for the week before the rally. He's president of the Kansas City chapter of the BMW club and the national president, Scott Blazey, also happens to live in K.C. Well, as sort of a hobby, Scott has a vinyl decal cutter and he made...
Well, I loved this photograph so much I thought I'd share it with you all. It was taken this last October at the Buffalo Run in Kansas City (you never would have figured that out from the subject) by the event's official photographer.
I liked it so much I ordered it as a 20 X 30 poster and...
