I just had four new MPSS tires put on. I didn't even notice the sound until I had it home and took it out again for a drive. It's coming from the rear passenger side wheel. The sound is most audible when it is echoing off something next to it (cars, trees, street curb, etc). The car drives...
Was it pretty loud? I think the noise I heard was plenty loud enough for the cars around me to hear.. And I have a full Belanger exhaust system with headers... So it takes a lot to hear anything over that exhaust.
It was definitely continuous.. The only time it lasted a significant amount of time (around 3-4 seconds), was the first time it happened. After that, only a very brief (1 sec) grind/vibrate. I looked under the car several times without it being on a lift, but didn't see anything.. I also...
I have a 2001 RT/10. I had the Stoptech Big Brake kit installed almost two years ago, and they only have a couple thousand miles on them, if that.
The other day I was out for a drive, and as I slowed to probably under 15mph, I heard a loud sort of grinding/scraping sound.. It felt and...
I own a 2010. You can get brakes for less than half that easily. Tranny is expensive, but can also be had for half that price. If you go through the dealership for parts, you're going to get ****ed. Plain and simple. The replacement parts from vendors are cheaper and are often upgrades...
Re: Glad they are going to limit the amount Corvettes & Mustangs at Cars & Coffee Irv
Wow.. Those shows are amazing. We take all the cars we can get at Cleveland C&C. If it goes fast and/or looks unique, bring it.
The Viper stock exhaust *****.. I don't know how you guys can stand the silence on such a menacing beast. Like the above poster said, at least get high flow cats. They cool your sills down and give the car some attitude. As for a complete system, I have Belanger front-to-back and love it.
I bought my RT/10 in the summer of 2010. The previous owner put new PS2s on the Viper sometime around Fall 2009 I believe. I've only put a few thousand pampered miles on it since I've owned it; with the occasional spirited sprints mixed in. The Viper sat through three winters in a non-heated...
It was mid 60s here too. I took the GT-R out for some fun in the sun. The Viper is still in hibernation until we're safe in the clear. It's been snowing off and on all day today. 10 day forecast right now shows nothing over 45 degrees. Sunday was such a tease!
