    BATTERY SHUT OFF UNIT

    It depends on how long your viper sits in between shut offs, but most likely everytime you are disconnecting the battery your ECU is going to have to "relearn" it's settings. This will rob you of performance until the proper settings are relearned. I don't think this will affect the computer...
