Found something interesting on CL yesterday.

This is absolutely spectacular!!!!! I enjoyed the heck out of it, sure would come in handy if I was looking for something in particular. Very good stuff.

    Brake Upgrade? Need serious recommendations

Any time you open any of the hydraulic systems and want to minimize fluid loss push the pedal down some and find a way to hold it in that position. You can buy a pedal depressor which are handy but a piece of wood the right length braced between the seat and pedal works just fine. By pushing...

Another sad R.I.P - Phil Simms

Sorry Mojo, I didn't do anything with Phil's Viper besides hang around it some. He had sold it when I went to work with him full time. It was just race cars and such by then. I know when he had it, only Hennessey worked on it. Phil would take it there in his trailer and wait on it in John's...

anyway to get gtsr parts for a gen 2?

The suspension links were all OEM bits on the GTS-R stuff I messed with. Both P3 that was built by Roush for Chrysler and the Oreca customer cars. It was because the cars were homologated through FIA and back then they had to be stock pieces. That later changed and you could do whatever you...

Another sad R.I.P - Phil Simms

I was fortunate to know Phil really well. I initially met him when he started coming to Justin Bell's driving school. I say started coming as he was a regular for a while. I rode with lots of folks working the school and I could tell from the first time I sat in the car with him that he was...

    A/C Overhaul

Usually dye found inside the car is evaporator related. Evaporators in general are amazingly trouble prone. Not Viper specific mind you, but you see quite a few failures of something that seems like it should be pretty reliable.

    PureOne Oil Filter

I'm completely sure that filter will be perfectly fine. I've been doing this stuff a long time, longer than I care to admit really and I've never seen an engine damaged by an oil filter. I've seen some damaged by the filter coming off, but that had nothing to do with the filter itself. Stick to...

23 Year old Dodge gets all the attention? How's that even possible?

Well, a bunch of VW's and a VIPER!!!!!!! That's a no brainer to me :lmao:

For the first time in 12 years.....

I've had nothing but great service out of Odyssey batteries. The GTS-R we raced in '99 had one in it when we got it and that battery sat on a shelf for years and still started a car with no charge needed. They have a very slow self discharge rate and put out lots of current. I purchase them now...
