I ran the v710s for my street tires for about a month when I couldn't swing a set of Michelins. I ruined them and they were good for nothing because I heat cycled them so many times in just a few weeks. Don't do it. You'll be looking for trouble. When they go away, they go away bad and quickly.
No, I doubt it. I used a Pantera for a track car before I switched teams and bought my Viper. I had a 12.5 to 1 motor and the Pantera always ran very hot. The Braille never let me down as far as temperature. Before the Pantera I ran an SVO Mustang that did double duty as a street car. No...
I've used Braille batteries exclusively in my last 3 track cars and have never had a problem. They're about $150 and weight 10 lbs. That's the cheapest 40 you'll ever pull out of your car. Tire Rack has them. I change them every 2 years as a precaution but I always give them away and the people...
Does that vent onto the track or street? I'm thinking that might not pass tech in some places. If you're twisting up your engine high enough to spew out your PS fluid you probably don't want to put that in front of yours or anyone else rubber.
I've have no pics. I think the Tire Rack - Your performance experts for tires and wheels has a picture. I spoke to Luke there. I think he's extension 263. He's know his stuff. It really is a no brainer putting one of therse things in. I've never had a problem in 2 cars. It looks like a...
I've used the 15 pounder for over a year in my Viper with no problems. I used a lighter Braille battery in a Pantera for 3 years previously. They work great. I bought mine from Luke at Tire Rack. He'll know what size you need. There were some issues mounting the battery in the Viper with the...
The KDWs are an excellent tire for the price for cool looking street tires. I don't know if they have sizes for a Viper but I've used them on a few cars and they work great.
There was a review of the KDWs in Grassroots Motorsports recently. I thought the story was that they were an older design but were excellent street tires. I used to use KDWs on a previous car and I remember them as excellent tires. Go ahead and get them. You'll be happy with them.
I did the 3 day Barber school. I did the open wheel cars but you can do Miatas too. The open wheel cars are something you probably won't get an opportunity to drive anywhere else so take that into consideration. It's very pure driving. I thought the Barber school was great and like any other...
I'm not trying to ruin your deal here but I bought a 97 GTS in red with less than 7000 miles on it for much less than that. Like any older car, the value is going to go way down before it starts coming back up. Get the car and enjoy it as a great sportcar. A Viper is not an investment vehicle...
