Borla Exhaust or Other
had a gen2 with Borla and the sound was amplified. I put Borla mufflers on my 08 and it did NOT change the sound. Disappointed. Another owner on this site had the same experience a while back.- littlecaars

Looking for a Borla Exhaust - Cat back for a GEN III
Had a Borla in my 2000gts and loved the sound. Went with it again on my 2008 gen4 vert and totally disappointed it sounded exactly like the stocker. Your choice.- littlecaars

Don’t forget the clutch engagement and feel. The 08 is the first Viper with duel clutch disk. GTS ACR will not rev above 3500 rpm, what's could be wrong?
I agree with the previous comments about a possible clogged cat. The first thing that came to my mind when you said the car was in storage for an extended period of time was a clog exhaust.
