When I compare other "normal" vehicles "Firm Month Day" to their "Estimated Ship Date", the two are either the same or within a week of each other so I will assume that it is a Firm Ship Date. 2008 Viper ACR: PRN w/ Driver's Stripe Option Ordered 12/19/2007 Status: Went "D1" 05/23/2008 with a "Firm Month Day" of 08/12/2008 Customer, actually a Corvette guy, reminded me that ZR-1 allocation was announced and dropped another friendly reminder of how long this car has been on order...- Mopar_4_u

Dodge just announced a website that allows owners of pre-sold 2008 Challenger SRT-8s to track their car through the production stages. It's live but as of yet fairly uninformative as one of our "D" status Challengers brings up no info and informs the customer to contact their dealer. Why, why...- Mopar_4_u

Wasn't implying that you had posted rumours Jon. There has been alot of talk between customers, dealers and others, here and elsewhere, that it's been next to impossible to nail down an offical "Job 1" date on the ACR. PVP cars don't really help to ease the anticipation of those fortunate...- Mopar_4_u

2008 ACR
I was informed this morning that Prefix does have one ACR in their posession. No VIN was given, sorry. I was also told that it would be about a month before they really get rolling on them as Dodge is "hording" them to complete inspections.
