Sorry to hear about your loss.
If you could please keep us posted on how USAA takes the claim with all of the mods, that would be much appreciated. I had a Honda stolen with a stereo and they were very reasonable. Dont know what $125k vs $1250 means though.
The car is pig rich on the **** (under 10:1) and will be getting retuned at some point soon. Should hopefully pick up 50rwhp...
Isnt ****/water flamable about about 60% ****?
I recently bought a ROEed Viper, and am almost out of the **** (winter washer fluid), so I bought a 5 gallon drum from my local speed shop.
My question is what is the ratio of distilled to **** for injection?
Sorry to be a boost noob.
Jason
I recently picked up a 98 GTS and I'm looking to improve the geometry of the pedals, as I have 3 bad disks in my back from time in the Middle East.
I'd like to shorten the clutch throw. I've heard that Roe makes a kit. Anyone else? And good/bad about the Roe kit?
I'd also like to see if...
What are the other brands out there? I have heard that some are not much better than the stock manifolds...
Also, how bad a job is it to do the headers? Is it a crazy job like you have to pull motor mounts and lift the motor around, or relatively straightforward?
[ricer excuse] I have the tape, but no camera to download it[/ricer excuse]
The only moving you ever did was when I lifted because I had a busa in front of me on the brakes. Not worth it to get in a keyboard war on a viper forum, so yeah, nice 'spanking.' Really, the only pulling away that...
What are recommended alignment specs for a street car with 1-2 autoXes a year? Honestly, the stock alignment scares the bejesus out of me above 100mph.
Driven less than 2,000 miles a year, so tire wear is in no way shape or form an issue.
I'm getting there. The key word is LEARN. Not gonna happen first time out with the car. Stock the brakes lock the fronts first. No good. I went to 6/4 piston Wilwoods, now the rears lock first. Till I get a prop valve, I'll be unable to brake close to what I could do with ABS.
:drive:
ABS isnt magic.
The wheel has to lock first before the ABS will engage.
It will lock for an instant, then the ABS will detect zero wheelspeed, then relase that caliper...
I was ~7 seconds faster in the z06 than the Viper (raced Sat in the vette, sunday in the corvette. Was on slicks vs PSs so its really apples to oranges. No ABS *****. I need a proportioning valve as my rears are now locking first with the Wilwoods, means no heavy trailbraking, or you will loop...
