    Its a film that they apply to the part, then top coat it with automotive paint. Being as thin as a coat of paint, it could be recoated and put back to orignal at any time.

    Thanks Dave. It must be the module. In the off postion, I can turn the fan to any speed and it will run. It blows defrost and heat ducts.

    I have the dash all apart and just noticed that even when the ac/heat selection dial is in the "top" off position the fan motor will still blow at whatever the speed is set at. Is this normal, or do I have a bad switch, relay, hose or something? It is a 96 RT10

    Thanks, That doesnt look like the correct part. However I have send them an inquiry anyways. I am going to see if I can locate the EU or Canadian part. I can't imagine that any differencecould be overwhelming.
