    BATTERY DRAIN!

Ok, so last thing to figure out before this beast (2006 Dodge Viper) is back on the road where it belongs. I just finished my rebuild on the engine and the last thing not working is the re-charging of the battery. This week I replaced both the battery and the alternator. I had the alternator...

04 Engine in an 06 Crank Sensor Issue

Thank you all for your input. I was able to get the car running. I used a dodge "cam sensor" harness off of amazon and it fit. The pain was not only figuring out which wire was which, but realizing that I had put back in the 2006 flywheel and not the 2004 flywheel that needed to be installed...

04 Engine in an 06 Crank Sensor Issue

The engine is out of a Dodge Viper, not the dodge Ram. The tooth count should be the same because they both use the same flywheel. I wish the solution was as easy as using an extension harness, but the plug for the sensor in the 2004 I am putting in is completely different. Luckily they both...

04 Engine in an 06 Crank Sensor Issue

HELP!! I have been trying to figure out what I am going to do about an issue I overlooked. I have a 2006 Viper and the bottom end got ruined when I rented it out and they had a bit too much fun on it. I bought a 2004 bottom end and have been in the process of getting the rest of the engine...

    Door trim piece

That is a damn shame. You have now discovered an issue all of us have faced. Unfortunately, there is no easy fix. Probably your best bet is to buy a whole Gen IV door panel on ebay and remove the plastic trim from that. These pieces are not sold separately anywhere so options on getting a new...

Shifter boot effecting tranny shifts ????

You can just buy the 20$ riveter that comes at harbor freight. It includes the needed 1/4" rivets, and makes the job quick and cheap.

    ACR center console scorching hot

You could check the rubber boot that goes around your shifter. They often tear and allow heat from the transmission tunnel to torch your center console area. Its easy to check. Just unbolt the aluminum trim around the surrounds your shifter and the boot will be directly underneath. 30$ fix...

    Custom Made Gauges

Thanks! I should have a test gauge at least lit properly by next week (White led(s) behind and red LED for the needle). I will be sure to post a picture when i hit that stage.

    Custom Made Gauges

Yes I do! I replaced the window switches with red LEDs. I also replaced all the green LEDs in the radio with red ones. Al the other buttons / knobs in the car (Door lock, Power Mirror) now have white LEDs soldered in them. Ohh, and also am having the interior wrapped in red leather this week...

    Custom Made Gauges

Hey guys, Working on designing custom gauges for the Viper. It is basically a sandwich of a transparency up front, and plane paper behind. The needles are a generic GM product and only cost 20$ shipped. I chose to change the needles because the OEM ones do not allow light to pass through them...
