Actually he used a rotary via a different Kevin Brown Method. Which worked very well...
Please do google Kevin Brown Method. Read, read and read more.
After using a rotary for 3 years, I have not picked one up (except to spin dry pads.)
All of my corrections over the past year have been...
Frank is right and he has a lot of knowledge about paint care.
As he has so correctly stated, it is not wise to use a QD to clean your car.
Waxes and some detail sprays will fill and hide the true condition of your paint. As Frank noted use isopropyl alcohol will give you the true condition...
I say give Sal a call and see what he says. I go thru a bottle of Z2pro every 6-9 months with my business and have not had any issues. I do go thru Z5pro at twice to 3x the rate as most of the cars I polish are black and other dark colors.

ZFX is not made to work with any other product. Especially a wax.

If your wheels have a clearcoat try the powerball and a plastic polish. According to Forrest from Mothers, the clearcoat on wheels is softer then the clearcoat on your paint. So a plastic polish will work great.

I then was reminded by you that whatever makes people happy is fine. Heck I agree.
