What else do I REALLY need on a Paxton setup?

Not trying to "plug" any particular vendors, but since you mentioned reliability, I highly recommend replacing the stock damper with an ATI unit (or equal) and using the Roe crank pinning kit (or equal). The stock damper is cast iron and a POS in my opinion. The crank pinning kit that comes with...

    White Mamba Owners! (pics please)

Thanks Bat, I have the KW adjustable coilovers and ended up dropping it about 1" in the back and 1-1/4" in the front. Your car looks great - luv the blue stripes on the VOI.9 cars. Would be my next choice but I couldn't resist the convertible. If I remember correctly didn't you have a black or...

Anyone know what a stock SRT-10 brake rotor weighs?

All I can vouch for is the measurements taken on the rotors I took off my car. Maybe yours are different if you read it somewhere. I read the 2004 service manual.

Anyone know what a stock SRT-10 brake rotor weighs?

No problem rcl4668. Actually, the front and rear rotors are the same thickness at ~32mm. The difference in the weight is due to the front rotors having more material in the "hat", i.e. the distance from the outer face of the rotor to the outer face of the hat is greater on the front than the...

Anyone know what a stock SRT-10 brake rotor weighs?

I installed the StopTech rotors (drilled) on my '04 and weighed all four stockers and the StopTechs: Stock front rotors: 26.6 lbs. each StopTech fronts: 17.6 lbs. each Stock rear rotors: 24.2 lbs. each StopTech rears: 17.6 lbs. each As you can figure, total weight savings by changing...

    Paxton vacuum source

Len, Use the brake booster vacuum line which originates on the drivers side of the intake manifold. Cut this line fairly close to the intake manifold and install a "T", then route the FMU vacuum line to the side branch section of this "T". Also cut the vacuum line fairly close to the brake...

Thinking about supercharging my car instead of trade for an 08...

SRTLEN, don't want to hijack Ricky's thread but supporting pieces I put on with the kit (would advise for all Paxton installs): 1. ATI super damper. Dump the stock harmonic damper, the damper is the "link" that attaches the entire pulley system to the crank. Stock damper is cast iron, ATI is...

Thinking about supercharging my car instead of trade for an 08...

Do it Ricky, you won't be disappointed. 600 HP '08 should put down 520-540 to the wheels, stock '03-'06 with stock Paxton kit will put down 600 to the wheels easy. Paxton install is fairly simple if you have some mechanical aptitude, took me about 5 Saturdays but I installed a few extra...

Best exhaust now, if I'm doing Pax later?

Re: Best exhaust now, if I\'m doing Pax later? I put on the Mopar cat back exhaust with the stock Paxton kit and a few supporting pieces, with a custom tune the car did 710 to the wheels with the stock headers and stock cats. Anything you do to open up the exhaust will help make power on a FI...

    Paxton SC Air/Fuel dyno help

Tom, No problem and I would gladly try to help you out, however the tuner I used (Velociti) outside of Dallas went out of business a few months after I had it tuned which was about this time last year. I think they opened up under a new name but I can't remember what the name of the new shop is...
