Possessed horn?
So I am out for a drive today, and my horn starts randomly going off at length. Had to hit the steering wheel to get it to stop. About a minute later it does the same thing. Anyone else have the same issue? A comedy skit by Brian Regan came to mind during the whole ordeal, which in actuality...- strykergts

I agree with you 100%, and at the end of the day, it is still a camaro. a 75k camaro at that. makes the srt viper look like a bargain at 99k. Makes one wonder why there is no griping by the mags about the absurd sticker price.- strykergts

exactly. That was the biggest reason I sold my 08 z, looked just like every other vette after the GS came out. Sure, I had the better motor, but everything else was nearly identical with the exception of subtle nuances that only a serious car buff would recognize.- strykergts

They did this with the last zo6 and zr1. Then they brought out the grand sport package, which going down the road looks just like the z cars provided it wasn't a convertible, but then they brought out the 427....- strykergts

6'-2" and large weightlifter build (295lbs) fit is on the cozy side compared to vette but hugs my sides perfectly. The seat is 20x better than my old vette. I don't slide the seat all the way back, probably 1.5-2" shy of all the way, and then recline the seat back against the rear wall...- strykergts

Always has, along with a multitude of other issues that would sink the viper if srt ever let those cars off the line. Hell, the current stingray has hood issues so bad they are running cars down the line with mismatched hoods. Its the price you pay for hand crafted vs. cookie cutter assembly...- strykergts

Another thing the Gen 5 and the C7 have in common.
I couldn't agree more. The C6Z cars will be a timeless design. If I forget about the issues I had, I really did enjoy the car and its looks. I also agree that the rear is botched, and looks out of place with the rest of the car.- strykergts

Those magazine ******* can write all the crap they want about the new viper, but I never got out of my Z06 and had a smile all day like I do when I drive my gen V. Why bother with a vette if what you want is speed and power? For 25k-40k, you could buy an old fox body, throw in a turbo lsx in it, and tear up the track runnning low 9's high 8's all day on pump gas. Its nice people want to buy a 60-70k car and then mod it, but whats the point? One could...- strykergts

buy a kia then, they all have 100hp na :) all joking aside, srt marketing needs to attract new buys, as the old diehards will always buy. Think corvette offerings: a mild v8/v10 for the entry; a stout v10 for the diehard fan, and an off the wall large displacement FI for those of us nuts...- strykergts
