This car looks bad ass in red. The tail lights are growing on me. Interior doesn't look as good as the Viper but if they sell these for $53k? Pretty damn appealing!

SRT will provide the aftermarket modifications (the ones that count) and probably slap a warranty on it if installed by a certified Viper Tech. Just my guess.
Since when did buying a car, that is hardly driven that much during the year, where 15,000 miles is considered "high mileage", make economic sense?

$55k is a pretty good deal for a 650HP car with 2 back seats. I read the gearing was left tall in the first few gears to help mitigate the torque. This GT can hit over 60 mph in first gear just like the Viper.
In your market the convert would be preferable I would think. I personally prefer the coupe. IF I were you, I would buy the cheapest lowest mileage 06 Coupe I could find and then supercharge it if it wasn't done already.
