    Letter says if spring in switch fails the engine could be started without the clutch pedal depressed. Starting car in gear could be a safety issue.

    Battery tender vs Battery saver mode

    I shall be gone approx. 3 months this winter and wondering which is better for storage in a garage that will reach 40 deg. on some nights. The gen. 3 manual says the battery saver mode should hold the battery 3 months. I hate to leave a battery tender plugged in for 3 months without anyone home...
