Mine is still going strong, occasionally getting used the way SRT intended. Shamefully spending too much time tucked up in bed in the garage though.
above courtesy of NeilUK, below courtesy of my messed up DSLR settings, kinda came out cool though
Had a chance to take some more pics. and some of the comments below are from 3yr old memory so apologies if I forgot anything or get it slightly wrong, Disclaimers over lol
There's noting much to see with the hood up, all the wiring is behind the headlight housing. For the UK we can not run...
Appreciate some may not like the strips, but importing my ACR into the UK meant changing it to conform with the lighting requirement for the UK, The stock sidelight configuration in the indicator is not ok.
This is what I ended up with, its a strip of LED that lights up sideways rather than...
For my rear fog light that I had to fit to pass UK registration, I ran the cables from the gap behind the start button, so the same area as the head unit, They ran under the centre console by poking through into the passenger foot well from the radio area then pushing it up under the lip of the...
Just remove the springs, its real easy as if you support the hood they are not under tension so wont go twang and fly across the yard. once off the car you can de-grease properly, i soaked and brushed them down with paraffin. Once they were clean as possible i applied the Tators tip, which was...
Well they start off well with making the baseline for a production vehicle being a car holding NHTSA or the ECWVTA. But then they try and claim the radicals have ECWVTA as they have passed the UK SVA (SINGLE Vehicle Assessment) SVA is not ECWVTA, it is a bypass scheme to allow single cars to be...
Mine isn't the daily drive to the extent that i have no other choice, but it gets used pretty often on the commute, PS2s make a huge difference to street-ability, softer ride (still fairly bumpy) and less tram-lining in the ruts. I'd say the ride with PS2s is similar to a GEN 2, but you get AC...
I'm guessing you have ruptured the AC system when installing the oil pan. They use green/yellow fluorescent dye for leaks and if you had it in your system and ruptured the system (ie split a joint) while moving the pipework a sudden depressurisation and lightness of the oil would probably cover...
On my 09 it took more than three "drives" to get it to go out, some of the tests it has to pass are quite specific and lengthy from what i could glean from the interweb. One of them was 8hours -3c temp change and no more than <a little bit of level change. Light didnt go out untl i left it in...
Vasaline works good also, either put it on the bolt to make them run better when screwing them in, or use elsewhere when you go to a dealer for a new bolt :eek2:
Thought we were tracking all the GTS blue ACR's give how few of them there are. Although I did want a black stripe car but BlknBlu got the first one and the dealer that had the other wouldn't sell it overseas. Still trying to decide if i put vinyl stripes on though but I feel like maybe I should...
If its not starting on the jump leads and you know they are connected good, leave it hooked up for a while, it can take some time to get enough charge back in to the battery for it to be able to fire up over the leads.
Well there's one hell of a fee to join this exclusive club, but the membership card is awesome.
It took some time to receive my membership package as it had to be containerised and shipped across the pond, but the good news for you guys is yours are a tiny bit rarer in the US now, Vin 00488 is...
