New Viper for Steer / Track Days, Setup
What is the Diff, ie Dana, Getrag, or? No stock cooler on 2003-2006? The trans is same as my 02 vette (Tremec 6 speed), which got very hot, I have had to rebuild/replace twice. No cooler stock? The only reason I could see a Viper trans running cooler maybe is that on the Vette its bolted to...- yellow02z

Hey Leslie - I think I know you - not too many females drive track days. I have same Vette, did all basic same mods, did track days for 2 years, raced with Midwest Council for 4 years. We met on a cold day at Mid Ohio,late year PCA day. Anyway, I am looking to get an SRT10 convert 03-06...- yellow02z

thanks for the help, i did not have email notification so I didn't know anyone replied. Any pics of cars with roll bars? The stock brakes are 4 piston Brembos? Will they hold up to a 25 min session without fade with good fluid and pads? Motor (oil),trans, or diff doesn't overheat? All this stuff...- yellow02z

Z06 owner, raced wheel to wheel for 4 years, many track days, etc. Did 15 days / races a year avg. Likely to buy 05 or 06, because I am tired of the Vette, and want a convertible.
