Im not getting alot of the new posts when I click this feature. I stop in every
day and check for new posts, but the post from the Delaware member,
Janeys New Year post, and the oil change post I replied to today all never
came up as "new" posts.

Very good question @Bonkers

Posts that you make are not considered new to you as you were the one that authored the post. This post would be considered new to you.

Hope that helps

But I didnt make, or reply to any of those posts - they were made by
other members and did not appear on the "new post" list at all. If
it wasnt for me accidentally stumbling on them (and then subsequetly
looking though each forum) I realistically might have never been able
to read them.

Its kinda like the new facebook search that only lists posts FB "thinks"
you want to see - its like the new format is only listing new posts it
feels it worthy.

If I get a chance, Ill try to do a breakdown to show you specifically what
I mean...

@Shaggy Bryan, is there a time limit on how long something stays new under the "New Post" Link?

My understanding is it will stay new until it is viewed or One logs out that clears the cookies. Not knowing what may have happened with Bonkers and new posts, my initial thought is the logging out that clears cookies, but that would mean it would have to be a current new post for it to clear.

Or... As usual, you know far more than I do, so if you could let us know that would be great
