Was watching Fox news earlier and, see a NEW Jack In The Box commercial on TV. Talks about the American way. At the end of the ad Jack does a burn out in the desert in an R/T 10 Red with White strips.

My wife saw a Chrysler van commercial in which a kid comes to pick up his prom date in a van and the dad remembers back to his prom and what he did with his date in the van.
You then see the kids driving away in the 2 seated viper saying "Wow I can't believe your dad let us take his viper.
It sounds very funny.

Saw the new Jack in the Box commercial last night.
All I can say is that somebody at their advertising agency
has their finger right on the pulse, and Jack must also be
fairly "hep". Chrysler also knows what makes America tick,
but I couldn't help but think that the dad loaned them the
Viper for the date instead of having the BOY and HIS daughter
making their own memories on the beach somewhere.

The car belongs to a long time SoCal member. He had pictures from the commercial shoot at the club's desert cruise a couple of weeks ago. It was funny seeing him standing there next to Jack!! The advertising company called me 3 months ago looking for a red RT. The offered me a sizeable "incentive" to come up with an '03 for the commercial. I guess they let him keep the antenna ball! He'll probably reply. dj

I saw the Jack in the Viper in the Desert commercial once. It was a post 9-11 / pro-USA piece with Jack saying "we're still the greatest country in the world", or something like that, before he burns off... I've been trying to find it online ever since. Anyone have a link to the video clip? I have trouble believing it never made it to the Interweb, but I can't seem to find it anywhere!
