Unfortunately we need to raise funds to build a new house. The "baby" must go.

This is a red RT/10 with 23k miles. Starts, runs and drives perfectly.

We've owned this since 2000 - we are the second owners. This is an unmodified/original vehicle and is in excellent condition. Never driven in the rain - and is a southern car - so the underside is very nice. Always kept indoors and covered. Starts and runs perfectly and everything works. This car is adult-owned and driven and never abused.

We have the clear title and also have the cockpit cover and an extra foldable roof (yes, we have two roofs for this car).

Asking $39,500

I have more pictures if you message me.

Weekend deal - The second top has been sold, so I will reduce the price of this stunning RT/10 to $33,500 for this weekend. I can arrange delivery on my trailer for a pre-negotiated amount if you need.

I hope to hear from an enthusiast that wants an all-original edition with low miles soon!

Let me know which specific areas you'd like pictures of. The car is all original and very nice.

I am somewhat bewildered that I have had very little interest while trying to sell this. I have had it on craigslist and a few other places - and I get almost no inquiries at all. I am curious why this model seems to be unappreciated. I see later ones going for amazing amounts - as well as heavily modified cars in some cases. Is it the lower horsepower? Or the lack of readily available replacement parts? Or, as Jay Leno has stated, there are just too many in really good condition to drive up the prices?

My curiosity is piqued. When we bought this one back in 2000, we were pretty sure it would bring more than we paid in just a short period. Here we are 18 years later and it has decreased even though we have only added about 3,000 miles since purchasing it. I guess it is a good thing that we don't HAVE to sell it. It is fun to take out on date night every once in a while.

My guess is that It is an earlier model...and the general appetite is for more creature comfort and higher horsepower...
Can you get some more detailed pics of the leather seats and dash...cant remember If it has a.c.?
How are the tires and brakes...is the exhaust system original??
Thanks
Lou

My guess is that most collectors already have one and pending electrification of vehicles in general mean they probably wont want to add to their collection. Casual day drivers wont want it because of its age and will want more modern amenities even at the sacrifice of owning "The Viper". In the same driving group the Viper has continually been compared, quite erroneously, to Porsche, Ferrari etc. especially in regards to the interior. The third and last group is , I believe, where the market is for this age of car. The new owner would be one who loves the image and performance of the car including all its shortfalls compared to the modern high performance car. The parts supply issue is not a major issue currently if you work on your own car and are prepared to hunt a bit. Unfortunately, a dying breed.... Where to find this perfect buyer, as you're trying to sell it fast, is anybody's guess. It might, unfortunately, take time. The alternative is to keep dropping price until it "fire sales".

It does have the factory AC, Radio and windows, top, and bikini cover. Tires are only about 2 years old - and in perfect shape. Brakes are good - work fine. Exhaust is original and looks perfect. This car has only been wet when washed - never driven in the rain.

Here are the interior pics. No rips, tears or wear to speak of. Carpet is excellent and the floor mats are original.

Price, you started at close to $40k You can find nice G1's for mid-$20's. I just missed a chance to buy one as nice as your's for $24.5 In the SF area, sold in 2 days last week. I've got a nice 24k mi Red/Tan '94 I've owned since '96. Two tops, upgraded wheels, headers, edlebrock coil-overs, all the stock parts, clean car fax, ton's of records and more. In today's market, I think it might get me $28k? GLWS Mike

I think one issue affecting demand for gen 1 and gen 2 vipers is fact that one group of potential buyers is now gone from the picture--specifically, the people who are only after the most badass American muscle car boulevard cruiser. Starting with the release of the Hellcat in 2015, these folks have so many sick choices: Hellcat Challenger and Charger, ZL-1 Camaro, and Shelby GT500.
