i recently replaced 8 year old tires on my Gen I and made a huge difference in ride, softer and no wheel hop and less wheel spin on heard accel.

I think it maybe time for shock work, since they are originals never reworked.

The car is only weekend cruiser, no track time.

Should I go for rebuild or replace struts entirely?

If rebuild is fine for my uses, who can recommend where to bring them? I'll pull them from the car and could ship.

Thx in advance

If you're happy enough with the ride I'd see about getting them rebuilt. Always nice to have factory parts that were designed to work together. I went the upgrade route on my gen 3, but that's because I wanted some more adjustability.

If you get them rebuilt, let us know where you went for that.
