Promised date was Thursday. Was told pickup and delivery can slip, so it was a very pleasant surprise to get the "delivering tomorrow" call a day early! I believe, like weddings, a light rain is a good omen. Tight beads made wiping her down a pleasure. Still doesn't seem real.

Happy for you! Enjoy, and try not to spend too much time in your garage staring at it. Lord knows I still do. Excellent color combination. Have fun, Mike

Thanks Mike. After so many years of dreaming, it so cool to own one. I love the simplicity of it. Last weekend, I started changing fluids. I started with the most over due items, a grease job and brake fluid flush. Purchased differential fluid and tranny fluid this week, so I ready for more this weekend. Today, I ordered new tires, softer springs for the front and rear, and high flow cats. It will be ready for the road soon, but plenty of work to do first.

Cheers,

JC

Beautiful buy... remember give yourself about 2-3 months of casual driving before you start pushing it. You want to be really comfortable with the car when it breaks loose the first time. Then you won't crash it... you will drive it!

Thanks! Getting accustomed to its characteristics little by little does sound like the best advice. Many say that the Viper behaves differently. Is it different than most cars or just different than cars with driver aids? I've never owned a BMW or other expensive sports car, so I've not had the opportunity to develop a dependence upon those types of features. Either way, I'm still starting nearly from scratch, since I've been driving only sporty front wheel drive cars for last 17 years.

Awesome looking car, do not forget to change the clutch fluid and flush the cooling system.
