SRT Set to pull out of 24hrs of Le Mans
OK, This is really bad news, and coupled with the huge dealer inventory portends a grim future for the SRT Viper. I truly hope sales improve some, and hopefully without "liquidation" pricing. The Viper is very competitive in Sports Car Racing and would be sorely missed by many. Hope the future... -

A lot to answer, I'll try. I drove the car on track the second day I had it, but kept RPMs below 4500 to aid breakin. Had the new TA on the track again Saturday, MCS shocks, lowered about 1" front and rear, R6s, harnesses. As said above the MSC set up is superior on the track and good on the road. My settings for this day were 7C 9R front And 9C 11R rear. Springs I think are 500F And 800R. I think the car needs... -

zim 32, Thanks for the info. I had my TA on track for the first time on Thursday. I found the "track" setting MUCH to stiff and used the Street setting which was OK. On the street my track setting is unusable. MCS Shocks went on today, will be at the track again tomorrow. Thanks again, Allan -

Two new TA articles
I bought SRT with Track Pac and added MCS doubles, harness, and track alignment/ride height. Much better than t/a and I am 2 seconds off PRO Track Record in a modified GTR. I am NOT a Pro. Allan -

I woud never use them as an primary street tire. Wear fast and fragile for normal road hazards. Short distances to/from track ok, but not more. -

Jack, I just today, mounted 315/345 R6s on mine. Have 3day track event at VIR this weekend. I had 18 heat cycles plus 500 street miles on the 295/345 R6s that were taken off. Probably good for another track day or two. Allan -
