I bought 3 sets from Purner. I bought 2 sets from Seth Palatnik. I got 4 sets with the racecar I bought. I've also accumulated '96 stock wheels, BBS LM's, Forgeline SX3R's, and of course the '95 stock wheels and ACR wheels that came with those cars.
These are the last two sets I'm selling... with slicks...

To all who have bid and bought... Thank you!
Howie Frank was the first person I know to have experience with the Crower 1.7 Rockers (about 10 years ago)... ALL BAD. Many people followed in his footsteps w/Crower issues. Search the archives, but I hope those w/first hand experience will post.
Just remember... you get what you pay for...
SUV? Mercedes GL450 (7,500# towing capacity)
My Ram SRT10 quad is like an SUV with a trunk. It has a factory tonneau, bedrug, and the tailgate lock is tied to the keyless remote/power locks.
I will extend the same offer I made to Melia, to the rest of the VCA...
I have a pair of used 17"x12.5" (closer to 17x13) CCW Classic Wheels with new, unused **sticker** 335/35-17 Hoosier Drag Radials that I will sell for $850 FIRM + shipping.
That breaks down to:
$400 = $200/wheel x 2
$400 =...
Link? They have 335/35-17 R3S04 road racing tires on sale for $85/tire, but 335/35-17 Hoosier Drag Radials are still $199/tire.
Road racing tires=stiff sidewall
Drag radials=soft sidewall (and remarkably soft rubber, BTW)
Most people who originally bought Gen1's have since added Gen2's, and the Gen1 is now living a leasurely life of retirement. The exception is you will see couple's who take both out.
You are going to need 11.5-12" wide wheels in front to run 315's. They may rub slightly at full lock, even with the car lowered 3/4-7/8". This was on a Gen1... YMMV.
I bought the first one new, but the other two I went over and under with a fine tooth comb. I still don't think I could buy a used car w/o inspecting it in person.
Unless the chassis has changed, I would call it Gen 3.5
Gen 1 = Gen 1 chassis + Gen 1 engine
Gen 1.5 = Gen 2 chassis + Gen 1 engine
Gen 2 = Gen 2 chassis + Gen 2 engine
Gen 3 = Gen 3 chassis + Gen 3 engine
Gen 3.5 = Gen 3 chassis + Gen 4 engine
Gen 4 = Gen 4 chassis + Gen 4 engine
If you JUST replaced the battery and have a VEC-1, and didn't zero out the VEC-1, your car will do this until the PCM has time to learn w/the VEC-1. After replacing/disconnecting the battery, you are supposed to zero out the VEC-1, drive the car, and slowly move the knobs to your settings...
A service manual is a terrible thing to waste! Needle nose vise grips on the end of the parking brake cable work great for me.
I am ready to go 40mm rear brakes on my ACR. But want to stick w/the original calipers for the reason you list above. Check your e-mail...
I don't know! But when I removed the passenger side collector to add a second o2 bung, I freaked out about the LOUD exhaust leak after I reinstalled it. I could feel and hear it leaking at the collector. After spending a month debating how to fix it (some people put RTV in the joint), I...
