Frankfort, Kentucky poker run to benefit fallen soldiers

Hey everyone. I had a lady call me today and she is putting on a poker run benefit on Sept. 4th at noon for our town's healing point which is for fallen Kentucky soldiers from the war. They are trying to raise money to add new flags for soldiers passed. It is a small town just outside of...

GENI upper engine gaskets up in price again!

If you read the Cometic website, they say they will make a set of head gaskets for any car you wish. Since they have the basic setup for Viper already, seems they should be able to make a set of headgaskets way more affordable than current Dodge price. That is just stupid price.

Re: Pics of your wheels .?. Those look great, I am really thinking of a set. Did you lower your car or is that where the ride height sits?

Yes, please let us know how you pulled that one off, other than the car sitting on the showroom for several years new.

    Help, car will not start

Thanks all, not an easy one to chase. I will give Chuck a call tomorrow, at the moment I am thinking possibly a bad ground connection or a bad crank/cam sensor. Anyway to verify the sensors other than the voltage check method?

    Help, car will not start

Wires are new, filter is less than 6 months old, no headers. I am still thinking on the electrical end because it will crank for a few seconds then it will just lock up and the battery appears dead triggering the flashing headlights, idiot lights, etc.

    Help, car will not start

Hey all, fighting a huge problem. Car is a '96 RT/10. Friday, drove it to work and home, fine, no problems. Later that night was putting it in the garage and while idling in the driveway it dies, nothing hard, just quit. Tried to restart and it would turn a few times then lock hard. Had to...

    Classic Car / Exotic Insurance

I've been looking into Rally insurance, they have stated value, cars must be garaged and have pics., plus have proof of a daily driver car. Quoted rate was $700/yr for $52,000 for my Viper and $25,000 for my prostreet Nova. $300,000 coverage. Anyone use them?

Any good places to get a Viper serviced in middle TN?

Nope, trust me, you aren't "that guy" because I am pretty sure I am ahead of you on the list and I know someone else who is probably the 2nd "that guy" bugging him with questions and how does this work, and what happens when I do this. I hear he built a Roe car that is spraying on top of that...

Any good places to get a Viper serviced in middle TN?

David is just getting back to full business as he was in a pretty bad accident several months ago which required surgery. He does more Vipers than anyone in that area and his work is top notch. To those who think the market in Nashville isn't big for Vipers, at any given time, David has 4 to 5...

    Need Help with cooling fan

Sorry, it is a '96 roadster. I got the fan assy. out and took it apart, there is a dowel pin that runs through the shaft of the motor which allows the fan to seat. The pin is gone and the underside of the aluminum fitting in the fan is wore pretty bad also. Anyone have a spare fan and dowel...

    Need Help with cooling fan

Took the car out for a drive tonight, came home and parked it in the garage and before shutting it off I heard a scraping/rubbing sound. It was coming from the cooling fan on the radiator. Question is....the fan itself is loose and wobbles on the shaft..is that normal? There is a clip on the...

    2 kills tonight

Just a FYI...best friend has a Busa with only a heddar and chip to remove speed limiter. On a humid night at the drags in Ky. I was running mid 11s and he was nailing 9.9s all night @ 145ish mph and it was his 1st night at the strip with the bike although he has been riding for several years he...

    ARE VIPERS HAND BUILT?

Today's robots are cheap to buy and install, can pick up midsized Fanuc robots for around $50,000 which pays for themselves quickly if a company is trying to replace humans for robots. Robots only do what they are told and programmed to do but do have occasional memory clear or card go out. I...

    6.30 @ 118 in the 1/8th mile

A friend and I have been going to the drags for a few weeks now, I take my roadster and he takes his Busa. It has only an exhaust on it and the bypass chip for eliminating top end. On very humid nights and a tacky track he consistently traps 10.2 @136. There are a few other bikes there in the...

Got a challenge to race an airplane today!

Turbine engines are pigs until they get high altitudes with better air, they aren't designed to dig from a roll. Those engines just aren't very efficient at low altitude. Prop airplanes aren't much better. It is easy to strap 400horse to a composite airplane, makes them very fast due to high...
