    It's probably an SVSi. The method you mention is correct provided that you back away 1/8 of a turn after the bolt contacts the lever. Not sure what gear you should be in when you do this though.

    I'm 6' tall (34" inseam) and feel I'm at the upper limit. Others will disagree and suggest a seat lowering kit. You'll need a test drive so you can make your own determination.
