WTB- 3D Viper GTS wall art

Back in the late 90s or very early 2000's, some artist or mfgr had designed a 3D GEN 2, that looked like it was coming half way out of the wall. If anyone has one, or knows of one, I'd like to make an offer. If I can see a picture of it, I can make a firm offer. Thanks!

    Nurburgring predictions-

Got any guesses as to the Ring time of the basic Gen5 GTS? Somebody will likely test it at the Ring this fall. It's about 3350#s, right? 640 hp, 600 ft pounds of torque, Bilsteins, some built-in downforce, stock Pirellis.... I guess about 7:19, give or take a couple of seconds. What's your...

Left rear hub area makes a distinct "clink" under torque application

Got a weird one here... Imagine your left rear wheel is only held on by one lug nut, (or, all lugs are loose) and the wheel is shifting on the axle, when you apply torque, either forward, or in reverse. That's the best way for me to describe what I hear on my GTS, how and when it occurs. If I...

    Finally broke my differential!

So I've had this thing running about 580 rwhp, and 590 rwtq, for about a year now. Did some 1/4 mile tests, and some 0-60 stuff, but always on asphalt. Tire spin is a safety valve. Got about 55,000 miles. Car is old, just like me..2001 GTS. Today I nail it hard in 1st gear, and I'm on this sort...

    Aluminum wiring? Question for SRT.

In the reveal press release, they mention the Gen5 will have aluminum wiring, especially for the battery cables. I'm sure they did their homework on mating aluminum to copper terminations, with properly plated connections to prevent a corrosive reaction. And hopefully the Gen5 doesn't have that...

Paging TOM, paging Tom, "Fluid and Lubes Geek of the Realm"!

http://www.animegame.com/cars/Oil%20Tests.pdf Is this testing methodology worth relying on, or is it arbitrary, and not applicable to automotive application? Should I quit using Mobil 1, and switch to Redline?

Cool car behind me, on the 405 southbound tonight

It's about 7:15 pm, I'm coming back from Santa Monica. I'm driving my daily beater, a 2006 Mustang GT, grey with a big Nurburgring sticker on the back. (Not because my Mustang is any Ring King, but just because I had a great time there, and the sticker is a momento) It's dark out, and cars in...

    Nurburgring Nordshleife trip

On our most recent visit to Europe, we stopped by the Nordshleife, and took a ride in the Aston Martin Ring Taxi, driven by Andreas Gulden, former driver for the now-defunct Zakspeed Viper GTS's. I could have driven the North Loop in the rental car, but it was a big dorfy sedan, hardly...

http://forums.viperclub.org/sneaky-petes-place/629068-michael-jackson-commemorative-currency.html I added a fairly innocuous message to the above thread, and someone removed it, with no reason given, no notice at all. I dont beleive my post violated any posting guideline. What gives? :dunno:

"Stickiest" tires for Gen2 18" rims?

Michellin doesnt make Pilot Sport Cups for 18" Gen2 rims. Thats too bad, cuz I really want that sticky 80 treadwear, instead of the 220 t.w. on regular PS's. Whats the best option, if you want super sticky 18" tires? Anybody got any experience with other brands on their Vipers?

    Compression ratio, with Striker heads?

Anybody know what the compression ratio is, for a Gen2 motor with the Striker heads? (Stock gaskets) I called JM Cylinder heads, but he's either not in, or busy. I'm down here at DC Performance, getting the car tuned on the dyno soon. Would be helpful to have this information.

Where did the "08 Viper debut at NAIAS" go?

Where did the \"08 Viper debut at NAIAS\" go? I was typing my reply, and the thread dissapeared! Something funny is going on here! Anyway, here is my now-irrelevant reply. The ZO7 is suppossed to be 2900 lbs, and have 650HP at the crank. That gives a possible power-to-weight ratio of...

Source for fog lights? (Did search first)

My fog lights are cracked! Dodge wants like $250 for one fog light, plus, its not in stock, and they'd have to order it. I want to finish this repair this weekend, so does anybody know what dealer (Audi, VW, or other) might have this fog light (or lenses) on the shelf? I came across a Euro...

Hey, bro, it was fun clowning around with you on the 405 south today. Yours is 96? 97? Beautiful, and so shiney after all these years! Did you see that a-hole in the Mitsubishi Evo, or whatever it was? He thought he was a real race car driver! Comes across 3 lanes just to squeeze himself in...

Lost a door speaker? Door button inop? How to fix your door loom wiring.

My GTS had three things wrong in the drivers' door-The speaker quit working, the lock status light went out, and the outside release button didn't open the door. This happens because the wire loom between the car body and the door has to make an infernal bend, as the car door closes. The wire...
