Does anybody else notice this? Occasionally, after letting off the throttle it seems to stay on the gas for a few 10ths of a second before dropping down the RPMs.
They just won it all, and now they give it up-:omg:

I just received a notification from UPS that I have a next day air package arriving from Dearborn, MI tomorrow. It has to be the certificate mentioned in their press release. Check your front porches everyone!
I have been back and forth about buying another Viper and have come to the opinion that our latest Viper has lost some of it's original appeal to me. When it first came out the huge V10 provided boatloads of low end torque, and it pretty much stayed that way on through the Gen 3's. With the...
I guarantee you that all the "conquest & convert" buyers SRT are targeting are paying attention to these issues:dunno:

Luxury vehicle buyers want service -- not just repairs done right, but the kind of pampering they get at high-end hotels...
I would hope so considering California has the most Vipers out of any state in the country:omg:
It's November 30th so there should be more of the V's available at that point. I sure hope the SRT reps are kind enough to let me try it on for size:D
Did SRT do away with the lag caused by the drive by wire, or does it still feel like a Gen IV?
There has been references to "cutting the delay in half" and such, but I would like to hear from people who had enough seat time to really give a good opinion on this.
There have been numerous threads on the issue with respect to the Gen IV's, and it would be nice to know if this issued has been addressed on the Gen V's. Has there been any mention of this so far?
All the hype leading to the reveal, and now nothing for 8 weeks :dunno:
Surely the paint color samples are fixed along with the stripe patterns. Or, maybe even a dyno graph overlaid with all the other Generations.
Hey SRT, how about throwing us a bone will ya.
The EPA has our best interests in mind I'm sure. Thanks, but I'd rather spend the extra 5cents a gallon thank you very much. How long until they outlaw premium gas
When looking to fill up your tank, would you drive farther to pay more? Randy Hake's customers are doing just...
For the love of G*d, why did they put this on:dunno: Does the world really need another Nissan GTR?
If I want a perfect launch, I'd better damn well earn it:drive:
What a bunch of tools
The new GT500 (now officially at 662HP) is powered by a supercharged 6.8-liter V8 that Ford claims is the most powerful V8 production engine in the world, outgunning both the 638 hp Corvette ZR1 and upcoming SRT Viper with its measly 640 hp V10.

With so many changes to the new Viper I'm a little worried that there are going to be some major issues. With a bunch of new subcontractors supplying the paintwork, block, oil pan, front cover, valve cover, exhaust manifolds and likely dozens other parts I'd be surprised if it all comes together...
A tornado decimated their dealership and town last spring. They have since rebuit and are back in business again. Welcome back:headbang:

The "Track package" has the Stoptechs, stickies, and lightweight wheels, but no extra Aero. I guess Chrysler has once again killed "The Winged Warrior" ala Superbird style:(
I know the new Viper's chin is a way of incorporating aero into the front end, but it just seems a bit exagerated and "shovel-nosed" to me.

Man, it's dead in this section. It feels like someone let the air out of the balloon. SRT needs to hire some strippers to show them how to keep the tease active and our interest UP;)
Unfortunately, this is on the new Mercedes SL65- seems they don't mind spilling the beans a few weeks early:smirk:
C'mon SRT, we need some more fuel for the fire. Can't you give us anything else?
I know they are 24 pounds lighter, but do they add any HP on a 708 cam motor? Only reason I am considering this route is to have the car pass CA smog without any issues.
