    Good paint shop in western suburbs?

    While removing my soft top, it slipped out of my hands and put a nice, deep scratch on my sport bar. Any suggestions as to where I can get this fixed? I live in Yorkville (west of Naperville), so I'd prefer someplace in the western suburbs.

    Is the Belanger exhaust for Gen 1 bolt-on?

    I've had mine installed for several years, and it was a pretty easy install. I did have the new cats and mufflers welded together, though.

    Aftermarket headers and NO FLEX PIPE

    Assuming the GenII hangers are the same as GenI, just don't bolt up the hangers near the front of the side sills. I originally did bolt those up, that didn't leave enough flex in the system, and I ripped the hangers off the exhaust pipe (leaving a nice hole in the exhaust pipe too).

    With so few miles, that car would probably need a thorough mechanical overhaul before it could be driven reliably (or driven at all).

    Stalling problem

    When cleaning the IAC, don't move the piston. If you do, the idle will be off and you'll definitely need to disconnect the battery and reset the PCM.

    I had to replace my filler tube grommet, just like The Wizard said. Same symptom that you're having.

    You've got a couple options. Menards sells an inexpensive version - I think it's a couple hundred bucks. Another route (which I took) was to have the commercial version installed. It's called a "jackshaft" opener. Not cheap, but they've been on the market for a long time, and any good garage...

    Illinois Viper owners Insurance?

    I pay about $400 every 6 months thru Country Insurance. That is full coverage with no mileage restrictions. I'm 32 with no tickets, no accidents, multi-car discount, and homeowner discount (Country has my homeowners insurance too).

    Is that baseline for the torque right? Or did you mean 490? 390 sounds really low to start with, especially with headers.
