    I would only do it if you are going to have the tranny out. You have quite a few mods already, I wonder if you would notice it much at all.

    3: 55 GEAR

    With the new 3.55's the engine revs very very fast. I have actually bounced off the fuel cut off since the new gear while spinning the tires. My 1/4 mile trap speed went up. I use 6th gear more often. It is a whole new car to get used to.

    You would think that since this is not the first car Dodge ever made, that the HVAC system would function. In the 10 years of "good looking Vipers" the HVAC system was never fixed. Almost as if the guys that design them never drive them!

    Jim, is there any trick to removing the pad from the hood once the clips have been removed? It looks tight around the hinges.

    We are not talking about heated seats and cup holders. The area the Viper performed the worst was stopping. I believe ABS was to improve this area. At VOI-5 during the "Tech Session" it was said a retro fit was in the works for the non ABS cars. I am still waiting.

    Black sooty filmy substance??? Every Viper I have seen had black inside the exhaust. When the pipes are cold they spit, this is normal. Pull the plugs to see how they are burning!!!
