Do Not Call Chuck Tator!
Cause he's just about to begin his 24 hour pub crawl!
You see ....
It's his birthday tomorrow, Saturday, February 2nd. :2tu::spin::birthday:
Congrats Mr. Wizard!
I know a lot of folks have given this a try as a means to test drive a Ferrari or Lambo. For $99 it may make more sense to some. Thought I'd pass it along. I've got absolutely no connection to this group so this is not an advertisement or recommendation. I'd post it in the NY/CT Region, but...
When I want to review my posts, the search engine is only generating threads that I authored, rather than all the threads within which I have posted. Is this an intended change or am I missing something?
Thanks Don.
Went to the NY Auto Show late yesterday as it was the last day and I was interesting in checking out the new (October release) Land Rover Evoque.
Anyway, when I checked my phone messages immediately before we left for the show, I had a call from a California Dodge representative asking if I'd...
Since one of the recent website upgrades, I no longer know how to delete a photo (in my gallery). Can someone explain how:
to delete a single photo and
if there's a means to delete a group of photos
Thanks. :2tu:

Just received this notification. Luckily, I haven't had any accidents or bad experiences with auto insurers ... yet. But this came out of the blue and it SEEMs to be a nice benefit (sort of a get out of jail free card). Anyone know more about it?

FINALLY took my Viper to Andrew for a good going over. First time the car has seen a serious polishing and cleaning (or as Andrew calls it - "clearcoat correction") since new just over 2 years ago. Andrew has a small garage in Whitestone, Queens - 3 blocks off of the Cross Island Parkway, so...

I doubt all hasn't already been said, but after a decade of ownership (always liked the way a decade appears to be far longer a period than 10 years) Chuck gave me a new reason to post about exemplary service.
Among other 10K mile service work, I took occasion to replace the factory battery...
So after this:
I finally caught a break with the weather and got the damn top down, followed the yellow brick road up to the Wizard (now turned juggler) to install. Here are the pics (which are the best I could do with a 2 year old beat to hell blackberry, edited as best as I could)...
I'm trying to determine which Optima Battery is appropriate for an "electronically stock" 2008 Viper. The Optima Website states:
Part Number: 25 (8025-160)
RedTop®; Battery; UNBOXED; Group 25; Cold Crank Amps 720; Crank Amps 910; Reserve Capacity 90; Ampere Hour 44; Top Terminal; L-9 5/16...
There's a connection to our NY/CT Region that you can find in this Yahoo News Page....if you look really close. ;)
Not sure how long the link will work, but see if you can find it.

I'm tired of microfiber towels and microfiber mitts! Do any of you use a brush? I see that most of the "elite" vendors suggest the use of only a boar's hair brush for use on clear coat/paint. Of course, they're 4 times the price of a typical soft nylon or polyurethane brush. I'm about to make my...

Learned about this detailer on another car website (the following is copied from a thread). Does anyone have any experience with his work? I'm always looking for a reasonably priced local guy that does good, responsible work.
Here are a few packages that are good till the end of the month

What do you folks do, that have suede and leather trimmed seats, with regard to treating (cleaning and preserving) the leather portion? Is there a common method of masking the suede from leather products?
I'd like to have some numbers painted on my helmet. I'd consider some "design" too, but no doubt that would increase the price. Does anyone know/use someone local that can to some simple numbers without some expensive minimum that costs as much as the helmet?
I tried with some vinyl numbers...
I just wanted to post up about a new Viper Tech and his new shop. He's an excellent mechanic; a "Wizard" with Vipers! I would highly recommend your giving them a call with any of your Viper related issues.
The way it was...
After reading dozens of posts and posting a few myself, I'm placing an order today. Heck, I've only been talking about it for 6 months already! I will be keeping the entire OE system stock except for this change and I'll be re-using the OE grills.
So my choice is between:
