    Not sure if this helps, but i remember hearing a few people saying the g tech was pretty accurate, but not very durable as they reported after a while they weren't accurate anymore. perhaps yours is like that where something is broken or worn and the readings aren't right like they used to be

    Best to call Sean. I think there is a rubber boot or fitting on the bypass valve. Check to se if it has a hole or a tear or is cracked.
