    Definitely. The Corvette got infinitely better because of the Viper intro in 1992. It is very good that they both compete with each other it's truly win win. SO happy Gen V gets back into racing too. Should make for even better future cars for both marques.

    Gen V Debut Compared to the Gen III Debut ?

    Agree with others about the concept being awesome and then not loving the actual car. The first time I saw Gen 3 at a car show I was shocked at how much I disliked it. The coupe was definitely much better but I feel that they righted a wrong and have come up with a much better design this time.

    New Viper is huge letdown

    Sorry the new car is awesome. It is an improvement in every way over the previous generation. And they are finally back in racing which, to me, legitimizes the new Viper as well.

    The new viper is amazing!

    I have to agree. It is not as audacious as Gen 1&2 but it is definitely back to it's original stlye, and looks really sexy again. And that interior is amazing! Way way big improvement over the Gen 3&4 which is a nice car but never got my blood boiling, hence my decision to buy a Z06 in 09...
